Founded in 1956 by Patricia Crothers, Dorothy Vickery and Barbara Boisvert as the Greenland Junior Women’s Club, the Greenland Women’s Club offers opportunities for women in in the greater Seacoast area to network with other women who are interested in leadership and helping others.
Our mission is to promote the civic, cultural, educational and social betterment of the community. GFWC Greenland (GWC) is a part of the international General Federation of Women’s Clubs.
The GFWC Greenland Women’s Club works locally and nationally to bring about positive change with a dedication to community improvements. We aim to impact lives through acts large and small. Our programs fall into six main areas: Arts, Conservation, Education, Home Life, Public Issues and International Outreach.
