Founded in 1956 by Patricia Crothers and Dorothy Vickers as the Greenland Junior Women’s Club, the Greenland Women’s Club offers opportunities for women in Greenland and surrounding communities to network with other women who are interested in leadership and helping others.
Our Mission is to promote the civic, cultural, educational and social betterment of the community. GFWC Greenland GWC is a part of the international General Federation of Women’s Clubs.

What we do…
The GFWC Greenland Women’s Club works locally and nationally to bring about positive change with a dedication to community improvements. We aim to impact lives, through acts large and small. Our programs fall into six main areas: Arts, Conservation, Education, Home Life, Public Issues and International Outreach. There are, in addition, many special projects, fundraisers, and programs in which the members take part locally, nationally and internationally.
