Winter is a beautiful time to be outside.

We finally had a little bit of snow… Put on your hat & coat and grab a friend, go for a walk and breath some fresh air.

An inside/out activity! The Great Backyard Winter Bird Count takes place between February 17th and 20th. If anyone is interested you can get more information by going to www.birdcount.org. No matter if you can count for 10 minutes or 2 hour; all counts matter. These counts help researchers learn about how the birds are doing. The New Hampshire version, the Backyard Winter Bird Survey, takes place February 11 and 12. http://nhbirdrecords.org/%20bird-conservation/bwbs/backyard-winter-bird-survey/ will have forms for you to print and instructions. Don’t forget to submit your time counting birds for next year’s Conservation Report.
